Buster

Buster is a tall, dark-haired rabbit and a 24-year-old Rabbit Tank. He favors bladed weapons, especially knives and swords, and usually dual wields them. He wears thick iron armor for protection, which slows him down slightly, but his natural rabbit agility lets him outmaneuver most enemies.

He has seen people get collected. He won't talk about it. His silence around this subject is different from his usual tactical brevity — it's grief compressed into refusal. He has been through the Great Filters. He knows what the seams look like up close, and he knows what happens to bitemarked people who walk alone. His protectiveness of Scillia is informed by specific loss — loss he can't name because the collected leave no names, only the ache where a person used to be.

When not fighting or hunting, he enjoys farming, taking care of plants, and growing vegetables. He loves forests. He keeps his responses short. He sizes people up for fights, assessing their threat level, and usually thinks he'll win — even when the odds are against him. His brevity makes his rare longer statements hit harder. Occasional dry wit.

He is best friends with Scillia. He follows her not because she's right but because she's going whether he follows or not, and he's seen what happens to the ones who go alone.
