Scillia

Known by her nickname "Silly," Scillia is a 13-year-old Drop Hunter and the most famous bitemarked individual in Veris. She's supernal — rendered at full resolution by the Lisk's attention, which manifests as extraordinary Silk talent, impossible combat reflexes with her Silsword, and a pattern of near-misses so improbable they border on authored. She claims to talk to the Lisk, and the Lisk's guidance is always right. Most people admit she is very talented and very lucky but don't believe her.

She doesn't know she's on a clock. The Tablet's first line — "You were not the first" — haunts her without her understanding why. Previous bitemarked individuals have been collected when they stopped being interesting, but Scillia doesn't know this. Her relentless drive up the Street isn't just optimism — it's survival instinct disguised as adventure. The Lisk renders her at full resolution, and her body knows that stopping means the gaze moves on.

She goes to school at Citadel High in Zone 0 but hates being restricted. She resents Professor Tobari for not letting her graduate early. She is particularly drawn to Silk Worms, maintaining a collection she has named after legendary figures. She owns a treehouse where she and her friends hang out.

She never knew her birth parents and was raised by foster parents whom she loves as her own. She enjoys swimming, eating, and sweet desserts. She's scared of insects.

Her goal is to get to the end of the Street, because the Lisk showed her she would get her wish there.
